Charleston to mark 'Sesame Street' birthday
If you love Sesame Street, head down to Charleston on Sunday to celebrate the beloved children's show's 40th anniversary.
The celebration will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Charleston's Kiwanis Park. The streets running through the park will be renamed "Sesame Street."
The event will also feature a costume contest, a "C is for Cookie" snack booth, an "Elmo's World" physical activity area plus more games and refreshments. You can also record your favorite Sesame Street memory with WEIU-TV and bring a donation of a coat, mittens or a hat to donate to needy community members.
