Orpheum renovating auditorium, seeking expansion funds

CHAMPAIGN – The Orpheum Children's Science Museum doesn't have specific plans at this point of precisely how it would use the $500,000 proposed in the state capital bill for expansion.
But the museum would like to expand to the north with a multistory building perhaps two or three years down the road, said Sonya Darter, the museum's executive director.
