Governor to lawmakers: Raise taxes or I'll veto budget
SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois General Assembly seemed headed for what Republican Senate Leader Christine Radogno called "certain calamity" for human service agencies Tuesday after Gov. Pat Quinn threatened to veto any budget that didn't include an income tax increase.
