Douglas County road to be closed Wednesday for repairs
ARTHUR – Douglas County Highway 11, commonly called the Springfield Road, will be closed to through traffic from the Douglas-Moultrie county line to the intersection of 200E beginning Wednesday. The intersection of Springfield Road and 100E will also be closed.
Douglas County is contracting for the reconstruction of the road, construction of two new bridges, drainage improvements and the construction of buggy lanes.
