Hinders keys Sabers' victory
Prep Girls' Basketball
CHAMPAIGN – Gina Hinders produced a double-double and was one of four St. Thomas More players to score in double figures Thursday, leading the Sabers to a 54-46 victory against Rantoul on the opening night of the Blue Star Country Classic girls' basketball tournament.
Hinders, a senior, finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She was supported by Maggie Fitzgerald (15 points), Lisa Clarkson (10) and Brittany Einck (10).
